  So its 300RMB deposit for a bike rental card.
  First hour is free, second hour is 2RMB, every hour after that is 3RMB.
  That's all the information I can find from the internet...
  Is there a map anywhere of all the bike rental places?

  So I've been messaging my chinese friends asking if they are going to "热波音乐街" (I cheated and copied the chinese characters from this article) and they have just told me why they were laughing.
  Apparently "热波音乐街" is wrong - the last character "街" means street. It should be "节", which means festival :)

  I'm no longer living in the area so would like to sell the rest of my membership to someone. My card expires on the 1st of September so there are just over 4 months left. I want to sell it for 500rmb. It's usually 2300 for 12 months. This is ideal for anyone living in 富丽天汇 or the Luomashi area.

  A lot of trips around Chengdu and Sichuan are pretty easy to organise yourself. Where exactly are you wanting to go?
  Get in touch with some of the hostels in Chengdu....they usually have pretty good deals for trips. Friends that visit while I am working, or want to visit places I'm bored with, usually get shoved on trips organised by Lazy Bones hostel.

  @Brittney - You need to either have a USB "shield" device provided by your bank or have SMS confirmation turned on. Whenever you complete a transaction online you will have to insert the USB shield to confirm your purchase or type in the dynamic password they send to your mobile phone.
  I'd recommend you ask the bank to turn on the SMS notifications... You can msgs every time money goes in or out of your account and if you make a transaction online they message you the password to enter on the website rather than always having to carry a USB device around with you.
  You can transfer up to 1000$ before you need to verify your PayPal account - so just try to transfer a small amount to start off with and then you can verify your account later.

  @Brittney - You will need to use another email address to sign up. The PayPal website just redirects you based on your location, so make sure your VPN is turned off when you join.

  What VPN provider are you using?
  You should make sure that your VPN is setting your system proxy and trafficking all data through it rather than just that from your web browser.

  Just a note from me... I had just activated roaming on my China Unicom sim card over the Spring Festival. They asked me to credit my account with 500RMB to enable it and make sure there was 500RMB at the start of every month or they would discontinue it. I had no problem with it in Finland, England, Singapore and Australia.
  I'm surprised Telecom didn't ask for deposit like Unicom did.
