南方法国餐厅I like this place. The food is great, except they put mushrooms on stuff unexpectedly. I dont like mushrooms. The staff here is great though, and they are always happy to serve. I recommend it. This place gets The Baron Stamp of Approval.

8棵树This place rocks my socks. Adding a little class to the Chengdu wine scene, 8 Trees is a stand-up joint, so long as you can afford the price tag. The steak here is great. They cook it the way you order, even if you want it bloody. The black pepper pasta with steak is also grand. Like I said, though, the price is a little steep, but if you become a regular, you'll be let in on the secret days to go for half price meals. If and when you go there, tell Teo the Baron said "Hi".

成都海昌极地海洋世界Its a place with fish. Who thought to put a petting zoo in a fish place? Thats retarded. Everyone knows fish arent furry. Plus, Chinese people eat EVERYTHING, and you KNOW someone was wondering what a sea star (not a star fish, as that would be an incorrect name for it) tastes like. Other than that, I imagine its like sea world, but with free handouts. I mean, what does the guard say when he catches you with a dead fish in your pocket? Do they take the fish away and then kick you out? I mean, its already dead so... Anyway, Ill give it 3 stars because they have free food to take home if you're sneaky.

Chengdu > Peter's Tex Mex
Fuck this place. It used to be a great place with decent prices (although definitely not Mexican, or Texican, for that matter), but recently the prices increased and the quality of food decreased. I dont normally cuss when reviewing places (actually, that may be a lie) but places that increase price and decrease quality just because their popularity has increased deserve a big thumbs down. They said it to the consumer, so now I say it to them: Peter's Tex Mex: Fuck you.
