@Wisedragon you can find Mars bars in Sabrina's. It's a small bag of small bars for 82 RMB (quite expensive)

the undisputed heavy weight burger is with non doubt Monney's classic burger, but you might find it pricey, however in Chengdu, it' worth it. Mooney's is in Shangrila hotel.

酒窝The food is ok, we had the charcuterie and le plateau du chef. The bread is aweful, it's some sweet toast which does not go with the food nor the wine. The service is very slow, it took a long time for the bread to come. We took 2 glasses of wine, the cheapest glass is for 35 RMB. The place isn't cozy, you just feel not comfortable in the chairs and the small table, the music was loud. The overall experience wasn't good. The staff are friendly.
It's pricy relatively to the value

大卫餐吧The location isn't great. I went there to try their famous pizza and, seriously! i can easily name 5 better places, i can't believe this place won some award, the pizza is just "so so"...
The decoration is poor, like any other cheap pub and of course this explainsthe cheap drinks

Chengdu > Mike's Pizza Kitchen
Great Pizzas and Sandwiches, i wish the delivery can take a little bit less time.
The service is very friendly wether it's Mike or the other people who deliver.
Don't forget to try Kim's cheesecake, i tried the regular one twice and it's excellent.
It'd be better if Mike opens a restaurant as many people like me prefer to eat outside than to stay at home; a mix of delivering and having a restaurant is better.

民土咖啡I went there today: 12 June 2011 (sunday afternoon)
Cons:
- I had thekimqi pancakes: horrible
a plate of potato with ham: so so
Vienna black forest ice cream: so so, u can find this mediocre taste anywhere else in Chengdu, i just had to take the ice cream to change the taste of the kimqi- price is high relatively to the quality(taste) of the food
- The service is horrible, the first waitress who came to serve us has no sense of good service and an absolute non smiling and non receptive face in addition that she doesn't talk in a pleasant way. It's good that other better waiters came later on.
- It's not pleasant to sit outside because of the sound of construction all around.
-It's on the rooftop? yes but surrounded by higher high-rises! we can see a toilet 3-4 floors in the neighboring building. So don't expect a view.
Pros:
- it's good to try something new even if it's bad- comfy chairs
-big portions
I'm not sure if "big portions" is a pro when the taste is horrible, i barely had 2 pieces from the pancake...
I wouldn't go there again! If you want to try somewhere new, try some other place!
