Hi, I know you posted this question a long time ago, and might not even still be in Chengdu, but if you are, and are still interested, you can come to my class. The details from the ad I posted here on GoChengdoo are below:
PRACTICE ZEN MEDITATION WITH A TRAINED ZEN TEACHER
The practice of Zen (禅宗) leads to peace of mind, better concentration, improved health, fearlessness, and eventually the end of all suffering.
The 90-minute class is in English, with Chinese translation if needed, and will includｅ ｉｎｓｔｒｕｃｔｉｏｎ on Zen meditation and mindfulness, a 20-30 minute meditation period, and a discussion afterwards.
The teacher (Jamie, 慧覚) has been practicing Zen for over 6 years, and has studied with various Zen masters, most recently with Shinzan Roshi (心山大师) at Gyokuryu Temple in Gifu, Japan (玉龙寺,岐阜県).
Loose clothing is recommended, and if possible bring a towel and a cushion.
The cost of the class is 40ＲＭＢ.
