- Homeschool Extra-Curricular Activities Begin This Thursday!

  Who: All local homeschoolers
  What: Extra-curricular classes
  When: Thursday afternoons from 2:30 - 4:30, beginning on Thursday, 7 March, lasting 12 weeks
  Where: Zizhu Yuan Community Center at 96 Zijing Dong Lu, Zizhu Yuan, Gaoxing Qu In Chinese: 高新区紫荆东路96号紫竹苑 in Tongzilin.
  * Tuition payments for all classes are due in full on the first day of class. Tae Kwon Do uniform payments should also be brought the first day.
  All our classes will run between 2:30 - 4:30 pm on Thursdays, starting on 7 March for 12 weeks. Each class is 30-minutes in duration. Classes run concurrently in several different rooms/studios in the middle building.
  BALLET
  Cost: 345 RMB per student (paid in full first day of class)
  Classes: Classes are for children ages 5 and up.
  TAE KWON DO
  Cost: 500 RMB per student, 100-150 RMB for uniform (paid in full first day of class)
  Classes: Classes are for children ages 4 and up. There are two sessions, 4-6 y/o from 2:30 - 3:00 and 7-11 y/o from 3:05 - 3:35 pm.
  MUSIC AND MOVEMENT
  Cost: 200 RMB per family (paid in full first day of class)
  Class: Class is for children from birth to age 3. Siblings are welcome to attend as long as they do not cause a distraction, but the focus will be on teaching the 3 and under crowd. Caregiver attends class with the child. This class will run from 3:05 - 3:35 pm.

  Hi there,
  Here is a response I got a few months ago when I asked a similar question to a group of folks here in Chengdu. This was in November 2012, so the prices may be a little different several months later.
  "We just moved back to the US and shipped door-to-door with Seven Seas Worldwide. They are very helpful and professional, especially with regard to boxes and customs forms. It's only a little over $100 to ship each 30kg box with them from CDu to Atlanta, so I imagine the reverse direction is similar. Speed is about 70 days."

  Does anyone have a good anti-eczema cream they recommend that can be purchased locally for a decent price? I know I could get Eucerin or Aquafor on taobao for a higher price but I'm looking for the Chinese equivalent. If you could send the name of it in Chinese characters or a picture of it that could help a lot. Many thanks!

  We are new to Chengdu and are happy to have Mike's Pizza close by! It will be our Friday or Saturday night family tradition. The choice of toppings is great...I love artichoke, chicken, and goat cheese and many pizza places don't offer those. Friendly, prompt service and great taste. Thanks for this taste of home!!!
