Chengdu > Indian Food Corner
Hi All,
i was in chengdu for 2 months recently in April, May 2012.
In all the review, you will find contradicting reviews:
There are 2 kinds of ppl actually:
1. Who need indian food
2. Who want to taste indian food and just want some experience.2nd type will criticize this hotel, 1st type will really appreciate the food.
The food itself is very good(i personally found biryani, poori, chapati very good).
Ayi(middle aged woman) there is completely unprofessional but friendly(can get personal but if taken in right way, you can find her amusing and enjoy the talks) but who cares if you need indian food.
So don't expect any kind of professionalism here and just enjoy the food.
On the other hand namaste is quite sofisticated..chapati there is not real indian chapati...although veggies are good.
more expensive than this really cheap hotel.Best hotel in chengdu acc to me if you need indian food on regular basis.
One more thing,
come here with a friend with whom you can talk a lot(pass your time),
so that you don't worry about waiting period.Source: Personal exp
