  I wonder, could you provide any further information/reading? It seems a little scarce on the net, and I can only find some of the sites on baidu/google maps.
  Could you share a recommended or your itinerary so that visitors could have some idea of distances/travel times?

  I think there's a YHA affiliated Hostel out there I'm sure you can google for.
