Just an update on my last review. I've been back about 6 times since I last wrote and I can only say it just gets better and better. The crowd in the underground is well mixed and very friendly. I never cease to have a great time. Not sure what the last reviewer meant but perhaps s/he doesn't like the, pluralistic, easy-going

and welcoming-to-all values that this great little bar embodies. By the way, I have just heard they are going to start serving pub grub - it just gets better and better!

A great new addition to Chengdu. The owners/staff are very friendly, the beers and wide-selection of cocktails are excellent and the environment/atmosphere is very good. I have thoroughly enjoyed all my visits to this bar.

Expensive and lacks atmosphere. I small bottle of Tsingdao is 25RMB. Having said that, it is quite a nice place that clearly has had a lot of money spent on it and there are many positive things that can be said (comfortable, friendly and modern clean toilets). OK place to go f busy and don't mind spending a bit more on the beer but please avoid the food - it is ghastly. Overall, ok, but could be better.

Awful, awful, awful. I cannot think of anything good to say about this dirty little watering hole. The owners are unfriendly if you are outside the tiny clique that seems to coalesce there, it is unclean and, on the occasion I went, the beer was warm. I hated it. I was very disappointed as I thought a 'British bar' would have been more welcoming. This is a place to avoid at all costs!

Not my cup of tea. I can see why people like it but I find the environment pretty dismal and the clientèle a bit rude and aggressive. I'm in no rush to return but I wouldn't actively stay away in friends were meeting there.
