mr.willaby,
Sorry we wouldn't normally leave that lying on the floor. Perhaps an oversight on our part or too drunk to notice.
The bar is due to be refurbished shortly. It was supposed to happen last summer but the world cup was more important than a face-lift. We then wanted to do it at Chinese New Year but finding workers during that period is impossible. It will happen at the end of the football season without fail.
Thanks.

Best pub i've come across so far to watch sport. It has a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Couple of tv's and big old projector screen, even a free pool table. Its an honest pub that makes no pretenses and if you're looking for anything other than that you probably won't like it. Its a drinking pub and the drinks are fairly priced, which can be hard to find in most ex-pat venues.
Admitably its not the cleanest; but thats the kind of pub it is. When i went once a guy threw up on the floor and no-one cleaned it up- it was just left! I found it quite amusing, but could understand that others might not! Sounds like its got a bit of a cult status in Chengdu which might come across as a bit clique.

When people look back in the annals of history, there will be 3 things that stand out in memory:
1. Discovery of Fire
2. Invention of the Submarine
3. The Leg and WhistleFACT

the Leg is as \'Funty\' describes:
\"Unpretentious, fairly priced, friendly and comfortable with excellent sports coverage.\"Pizzas, pies, pasties and prisps all available.
Hmmm, back to work.

Awful, awful, awful. I cannot think of anything good to say about this dirty little watering hole. The owners are unfriendly if you are outside the tiny clique that seems to coalesce there, it is unclean and, on the occasion I went, the beer was warm. I hated it. I was very disappointed as I thought a 'British bar' would have been more welcoming. This is a place to avoid at all costs!
