In my three years in Chengdu this has been the worst. We haven't even used our AC this year. Last year we had it on in May.

Well, it could be said that the mild temperatures are a good thing. Who wants to endure months of sweltering hot temperatures? Also get to save on your electricity bills. These days you can actually walk around outside in the middle of day and not get drenched in sweat. I went to Beijing a couple of weeks back and it was so hot and humid that you basically just avoid going outside in the middle of the day unless you absolutely have to.

It's more rainy than average this year, but luckily the city wasn't flooded like last year in July or other cities this year

On the plus side I guess vegetable prices are also diving at the wet markets.
