Volunteering in Chengdu

  • Hey Everyone,

    I'm currently living and teaching English in Chengdu. I love it here...it's such an amazing city. Anyway, I have some free time when I'm not teaching and I'd love to find somewhere to volunteer a few hours a week. An orphanage would be the ideal place but I'm open to wherever there's a need. I've researched volunteer opportunities on the Internet and haven't come up with much.

    Any suggestions?

    i am a citizen in chengdu, i am inspire wiht your words,now most of chinese are desire for the moneny and so on,few people would like to think "it's blessed to give than to recive ".

    it's pity that most of chengdu organziation is lack of Englisch -Sino lanuage,so that's a big obstacle for foreigner to have more acquaintance with them.

    in the ordinary way,we use QQ group and disscuss that,i don't know wehther you use QQ.
