    • Hey all... I just came back from Hong Kong and found I could get Tropicana pure premium OJ -- the good stuff! I really miss the taste. I have found some 100% OJ in Jialefu etc. but have not found the not-from-concentrate stuff. Anyone know where to get this in Chengdu?

    • The best orange juice I've come accross in China comes from Hui Yuan/汇源. They have different kinds, with the bulk going to the supermarkets. But the real and best juice is reserved for premium locations only (like 5-star hotels). http://www.huiyuan.com.cn
I only had it a couple of times, it came as part of a sponsorship, but I couldn't find it anywhere either.
So that leaves you pretty much with the option of making your own Orange Juice. It's better and cheaper anyways.

    • hey, have to agree with the above post. You can easily buy a juicer/blender combo for about 300 kuai. I imagine in China a litre of Tropicana costs about 30 kuai a carton. A kilo of oranges might cost about 5. If you want the 'bits', you can juice some, then also blend one or two oranges in to the mix...

    • auchuan & carrefour used to have their own fresh orange juices in the freezer section. subway sells little 300ml bottles for RMB6.5 (but the apple juice is better)

    • Are they the same 300ml 6.5 RMB bottles as you get in 7-11? They're pretty good, 'though an expensive habit.
