Hitler in 3D and more cute nazis: Chengdu's Comiday 8 in pictures

The eighth edition of Chengdu's semiannual comic-con, comiday, Sichuan's main cosplay and anime festival saw up to 20,000 mainly young and female otakus flooding Hall 5 of the New Century Exhibition Center last weekend.
Apart from the countless "Japanese school girl" outfits ...

the obligatory incarnations of manga characters ...

the gender-crossers ...

the sexy characters ...

the performance "posers," like the Budweiser drinking girl in front of the smelly toilet ...

the 8-bit heroes ...

the obviously lost ...

and the manga illustrators ...

we also came across a gang in Hitler T-shirts ...

guys in (totally fake) SS uniforms ...

cute girls in "Nazi" uniforms ...

and finally we found ourselves standing in front of table displaying a "3D" comic book whose protagonist is none other than Hitler.

According to publisher Wang from FS-Project the book is a "fun" and side project without any commercial interest.

The book features 11 paintings from the movie Downfall showing Hitler in "ridiculous" anger poses and in 3D.

The second half of the booklet shows a manga girl in full Nazi uniform aping similar poses. Wang says they're not legal in mainland China, but given the limited number of copies (which sold out within a couple of hours at RMB30 each), they are under the radar (as have the publisher's booklets featuring other dictators in the past).
