China Swimmers

Every morning in Dalian, small groups of middle- to old-aged residents of this seaside Chinese city congregate by the ocean for some swimming.

The water tends to be very cold, especially in the winter when there is snow on the beach.

The swimmers claim that the quick dips in the chilly waters are very healthful.

Some of them are as old as 90.
